In most cases, Parquetvinyl can be installed on the existing floor. The subfloor should be stable, flat, and clean. Any unevenness or deep joints must be levelled first. The subfloor should not be compressible, like carpet for example. If you install Parquetvinyl on a wooden floor, any loose planks must first be secured.
