Why should I get a professional to install my dryback PVC floor?
The installation of dryback requires a great deal of knowledge and experience. A professional installer can tell you exactly which preparatory work needs to be done. The installation itself requires professional equipment, such as a 50-kilo roller. You don't want the strips to come loose or to end up with a disappointing result. A professional can advise you about your specific situation and carry out the installation. Search our Parquetvinyl sales points for a dealer close to you. Would you prefer to do it yourself? Acoustics and ‘walking sound’
The full glueing of glue-down PVC ensures excellent acoustics and a pleasant walking sound.
Easy to maintain
Thanks to its water and wear resistance, a dryback floor is very easy to maintain.
Ideal for commercial spaces
The high wear resistance and the glueing method ensure that the floor doesn't make a sound, even in spaces with strict requirements.
What do you need to know before installing glue-down PVC?
You can’t just lay dryback or glue-down PVC wherever you want. Your subfloor must first be made 100% smooth and stable – for example, with concrete or a filler. You usually have to have your floor levelled first. It is also not possible to install glue-down PVC on an existing floor, as you would with click PVC. Also don't forget to place your dryback and the adhesive in the room at least 48 hours before installation so that the PVC can acclimatise to the temperature.
