Simple tips when choosing your Wow! floor.
View the floor samples in your own home
Will your new floor be in a large room with lots of light or in a small cosy space? Large floorboards or a herringbone floor really come into their own in a large room. In a bathroom or attic, on the other hand, you may prefer regular floorboards. If your Parquetvinyl is adjacent to another floor type (tiles, polished concrete...) then definitely lay your samples alongside the existing floor.
Natural light and artificial light
It is incredible what light does to colours. So view your sample in the space where your floor is going to be laid and regularly check how the light hits it during the day. Also view the floor under artificial light. The colour temperature can vary from very warm white light to cool, blue-white light. Needless to say, this has a major impact on the effect of your floor.
Match with other materials
You probably created a mood board while planning your dream home. Now that your plans are really taking shape, you can start putting the materials together. Place your sample beside a colour sample of the wall or a piece of curtain or in the kitchen...
Decide which type of ambience you want
People often have a clear style in mind from the start. But sometimes you may have doubts or you think everything is fantastic, from calm and rustic to streamlined and modern. Not to mention the interior style that your partner has in mind... Look at the elements that are already there (such as the kitchen) and respect the ambience of the house. If your floor matches this, then you have a very good basis for turning your house into a home.
View the result now with the room viewer
A sample is just a sample. You have an idea, but to visualise the result you need to use your imagination. Now you can use our room viewer instead!
Just take a photo of your room, select a floor and you can see the result in seconds. If you wish, you can adjust the laying direction of the floor and all your furniture is neatly arranged in the room. Be sure to try out the slider and compare 2 floors in the same room. Exactly as if the floor was already there.
Nothing goes to waste
Our samples are deliberately not all the same length.
It would probably look nicer or even more professional if they were all the same length, but we choose to use the samples as efficiently as possible. So one sample can be a few centimetres longer than another. We think it would be a shame to throw out the leftovers.
